Biztalk Architect
This is an excellent opportunity for a Biztalk Architect who will be responsible for driving multiple strategies, roadmaps, processes and implementation of company’s EAI, SOA, Enterprise Architecture and EDI practices. This individual will provide architecture and design leadership for multiple projects.
Will create and document Software Architecture documents for project solutions as assigned. Will provide thought leadership and participate in the weekly Critical Design Review for all MIS projects while ensuring the delivery of assigned projects within a defined scope, budget, time, cost and quality criteria.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Develop an EAI Strategy for 1,3, and 5 years to align with an enterprise view of 6 billion in revenue and multiple lines of business including panels, projects and utility. Define and publish the EAI strategy by 6/28/2009
- Develop an EAI Roadmap for 1, 3 and 5 years by 6/28/2009
- Assist in the effort to develop a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Strategy and Roadmap for 1, 3 and 5 years outlook by 9/30/09 taking into account the new ERP System selected
- Assist in the effort to develop an Enterprise Architecture Strategy and Roadmap for 1,3, and 5 years by 11/30/09 taking into account the new ERP System selected
- Lead the effort to architect and design a PeopleSoft Integration Framework. This framework needs to be implemented by 6/30/09. Provide leadership for the development team
- Consult on Integration Strategy and provide thought leadership as required to deliver projects on time and within budget. Support the Theory of Constraints Critical Chain Project Management Process
- Successfully implement EDI on the BizTalk platform for in-transit inventory, warehouse management, and Trading Partner implementations
- Interfaces with other departments and supplier representatives. Work closely with Global Application Integration Manager and Director level executives
- Exercises effective communications levels and fosters team building
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 15+ years experience in deploying IT business and manufacturing systems at a medium to large scale company
- 10+ years experience in integration architecture
- 5+ years experience in messaging technologies
- 2+ years experience in mobile framework deployment
- Experience in managing global deployments
- Experience with integration tools, business rules engine, message broker, orchestrations, and designing application integration frameworks, service oriented architecture and enterprise architecture
- Experience with providing thought leadership in multi-cultural, geographically dispersed teams and project teams
- Experience with manufacturing systems, middleware, and EDI
- Experience in communicating with all levels of the organization in a global organization
- Must have excellent Presentation skills. Must have proven experience in developing presentations to sell ideas, present root cause analysis and strategic ideas
- Experience in participating in a structured project management technique, managing work through collaborative meetings and documenting expectations and results. Experience with Critical Chain project management a plus

EDUCATION:
- 4 year degree in IT, Computer Science, related field or related experience
- MBA, or other advanced degree, a plus
- Six Sigma Training a plus
